In the past, Dayal Trust funds have enabled HelpAge India to organise intraocular-lens implants and cataract-removal surgeries on 1300 economically disadvantaged senior citizens (2006–07), and supported a solid-waste management project initiated by the Lok Chetna Manch in the Ranikhet area (2007–08) as well as an afforestation programme in five van panchayats (2011).
